The first quarter of 2023 was marked by the strengthening of the partnership established with E-Cycle, the Association of EEE Producers. Thus, Extrusal currently has a specific container for the collection of electrical and electronic equipment, accessible to the entire internal community, managed directly by E-Cycle.
In this sense, and to reinforce Extrusal's active participation in the rigorous management of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment value chain developed by E-Cycle, which intervenes in the processes of selective collection, transport, treatment, recovery and recycling, an action was promoted in June internal training for employees.
Extrusal has participated for several years in initiatives promoted by E-Cycle, in the collection of WEEE from its employees. In addition to raising awareness and reinforcing recycling, these campaigns usually have a social nature, and as such, the results of these campaigns are reverted to help to support people in need.
Focused on environmental sustainability, reducing the environmental footprint and contributing to the circular economy, Extrusal has, over the years, launched several environmental awareness campaigns among its stakeholders. In this scope, Extrusal involvement extends to its contribution to initiatives developed by national and local entities.
