Aware that together we can contribute to improving the living conditions of those who lost everything in the tragedy in Castanheira de Pera, Extrusal is associated with the CASTANHEIRA RENASCE project. In collaboration with Smart Vision , we made a solid contribution with our aluminum architectural systems to the Fernandes family's home.
For Extrusal, the contribution to the Castanheira Renasce project reinforces its high social responsibility. “If we are focused on developing sustainable solutions for a better quality of life for current and future generations, whether for reasons of comfort in homes or to reduce energy consumption, it makes perfect sense for us to contribute to social causes that aim to support families. who were harmed by this catastrophe” defends João Madail, Commercial and Marketing director of the Group.
“The day that turned into night” is the name of June 16, 2017. A day marked by the disaster caused by the 11th deadliest fire in the world since 1900. A tragedy that took the lives of 61 people, left 62 others injured and displaced more than a hundred and a half people.
More than an act of solidarity, the obligation to do a lot for reasons of humanism gave birth to the Castanheira Renasce project. Recovering and reinforcing the ties between solidarity and recipients were the guidelines of the initiative. The project aims to identify families and support them in the construction/reconstruction of their homes.
